OUR TIMETABLE

In 2025, CBCK will run one funded Three Year Old Program with 22 children, and one funded Four Year Old Program with 22 children. Two qualified staff members work with the children. Parents are welcome to volunteer their assistance and join in the fun too!  On Fridays, we offer an extended hours for children in the Four Year Old Group program. For 2025 CBCK will opt in to the ' Free Kinder' program. In order to maintain the high quality program, including resourcing, incursions and inclusions, families will be asked to make a voluntary contribution.

FEES

The State Government is providing the 'Free Kinder 'program for 2025. Kindergartens are able to opt in at their discretion to secure funding and pass on significant savings to families. The government has guaranteed $2500 of funding for 15 hours (pro rata) for each child enrolled in kinder in 2025 for kindergartens that opt into this arrangement.

The Committee of Management at Camberwell Baptist Church Kindergarten has decided that it is essential to opt in and allow families to save a significant amount on fees and benefit from this government initiative. However, the level of funding is below fees previously charged and we are at a significant shortfall of our actual running costs to deliver the high-quality program that we are so proud of.

The committee has decided to ask families for a small contribution to support the kindergarten each year in order to maintain our program. Parents/guardians are required to pay an enrolment deposit on offer of a place, and we request this be donated as a voluntary gap fee. This contribution will support the kinder in covering the cost of essential resources, including incursions and excursions. These fees are 100% voluntary under the free kinder arrangement, and we kindly ask for your support.

This decision was primarily made to maintain the high quality program we currently provide including:

  • capping class size to 22 children,

  • continuing various extra curricular weekly programs such as Creative Movement Program and French for our Four Year Old Group children

  • introducing an extracurricular weekly program into our Three Year Old Group Program

  • continuing  to be able to offer a number of Incursions and Excursions

  • providing high quality resources for our children

  • attracting and retaining high quality staff and supporting them in their professional development

As a community Kindergarten we value the engagement and contribution of families to maintain our exceeding standards.

Please note, Extended hours program will be an additional cost of $450 per term.

Late Collection Fee

The Committee of Management reserves the right to implement a late collection charge when parents/guardians are frequently late in collecting a child. A letter will be sent prior to implementation of late collection charges.
